Classic Mojito
White rum, fresh mint and zesty lime, classic and refreshing.
Ingredients

High ball glass
-
Ice
-
Bar Spoon
-
50ml White Rum (we used Bacardi)

1/2 Lime, cut into wedges

4 Sprigs fresh mint, plus extra for garnish

1tsp brown sugar
-
Soda water, to top up
Method

Cut a lime in half and then cut the half into quarters. Add to a Boston mixer glass and muddle with the brown sugar with the end of a bar spoon

Add the mint leaves (stems removed) and the rum and muddle some more.

Fill a highball glass with ice and pour over the muddled rum, mint and lime mixture.

Add in some more mint leaves for garnish, top up with soda water and give it a good stir to mix it all together.

Top up with more ice if necessary and add mint leaves and a lime wedge to garnish.

Sit back, sip and enjoy!
